Fluid Path Products produces ultra-pure platinum silicone stoppers which are the ideal choice for high purity applications. Platinum silicone’s inherent resistance to spallation and cracking provides a significant reduction of particulate contamination. It also exhibits outstanding inertness and resistance to most chemicals, accepting strong acids. Our platinum silicone compounds are compliant with USP Class VI, FDA, and Cytotoxicity testing parameters and have an operating temperature range from -60F to 460F, (-51C to 238C). We manufacture our stoppers in all standard, as well as custom sizes. Custom molds can be made within one to two weeks to solve unique applications very quickly. Fluid Path’s stoppers can be sterilized by autoclaving or gamma irradiation.
